Note: This exercise will explain the two methods of accessing the Smart Architect Select Wall Types dialog box and making the selections therein. Future exercises may instruct you to select a new wall type without further explanation on how it is done.
Step 1: Opening the Smart Architect Select Wall Types dialog box.
Command: W ¿
Keyboard shortcut for Wall command.
The first time this command is used in a drawing session, the Smart Architect Select Wall Types dialog box automatically open. If the Wall command has already been used in this drawing session, Step 1.1 must be used to access the Smart Architect Select Wall Types dialog box.

Typing N for <N>ew, then Enter, will open the Smart Architect Select Wall Types dialog box.
Step 2: Select the Center option.
Step 3: Select the Timber 1 wall from the available list then click on the OK button. No other changes need to made at this point.

Existing Wall: Select this if the existing wall to be added is an Existing wall type.
New Wall: Select this if the new wall to be added is a New wall type.
User Wall: Select this if the new wall to be added is a User wall type.
Partitioning: Select this if the new wall to be added is a Partitioning wall type.
Center: Select this if option if the walls are to be drawn on the screen along a center line.
Pick: Select this option if the offset side for the walls is to be indicated on the screen.
Wall: A list of the different walls that can be drawn is indicated here. There is a different set of walls available for each of the four Wall Types. Any walls created by the user will also appear in this section of the dialog box.
The abbreviation or keyboard shortcut is listed next to the wall. Selecting one of the walls from the list will make it the active wall for editing or for drawing. An image of the selected wall will be illustrated below the Wall list, indicating the line type, color and configuration of the chosen wall.
Wall Height: Type in the height of the wall here or hit Enter to select from a list of typical wall heights.
Object Height Override: Select this option if lines and/or polylines, which are to be converted into walls, are to retain the thickness (z value) at which they were drawn. If this option is not selected the lines and polylines will be converted into walls with a height as set in the Wall Height option.
